Last week I didn’t get much reading done because I needed to do stuff and I participated in #WeekofReveiws challenge hosted by Andi at Estella’s Revenge. And I manged two write seven reviews! If you would like to read my reviews, click here, here, here, here, here, and here. It was a really gun challenge and helped me jump start my writing.
This week I’m determined to read. And I’m reading a book Ive been looking forward to for a year or more: Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel. I’ve seen good things about it all over the interwebs and from readers in my own house. I love dystopian novels so much! Plus, this book will also count towards the Read Harder 2016 challenge. When I finish Station Eleven I plan on starting The Sharper the Knife, the Less You Cry by Kathleen Flinn.
Station Eleven is a great book. 😊

I can’t wait to see what you think of Station Eleven. I love dystopians and I’m always looking for new ones to add to my TBR. 🙂

Oh!! Station Eleven was SO amazing! I read it earlier this year and loved it – it totally lived up to all the hype. Though it is really more post-apocalyptic than dystopian. Hope you enjoy it just as much!
Enjoy both books this week!

Seven reviews?! You’re a reviewing monster! I barely managed to generate two. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Station Eleven so I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

I loved Station Eleven! I hope to read some of her backlist soon (and she can, of course, write us a new one too!).

Wow that is a great load of reviews – I have a backlog to write from my holiday and keep procrastinating – I must get down to doing them.

It was a lot more difficult than I expected! And they became shorter as the week went on.

The biggest complaint my book club had about Station Eleven is that it’s a very creepy book to read while traveling. You get immersed in the world and then look around the plane and it’s hard to believe you aren’t feeling a touch of the flu…
Well done with the reviewing!

I hadn’t thought about that! It would make it difficult to be in an airport!
